Some of the events that happened to me in 2013

Well 2014 for me is finally here and has been here for 1 hour and 19 min. Here are some of the things that happened to me in 2013. 2013 was a big year for me. Here to 2014 being even bigger!

• I graduated college for the second and final time.
• Had a couple of job leads-although 1 didn't work and 1 still waiting on. This one isn't in my career feild but it will do until I can get into it.
• Lost my brother's cat Ashes to Leukemia.
• I made it through another year without cussing.
• No drinking either. 
• Grew in my faith by attending all three services at church.

And those are just a few things that happened to me in 2013.

The Christmas Story

I decided that since it is close to Christmas time that I would tell the Chirstmas story with Luke 2. Its not going to be the entire chapter, but I will focus on the verses relating to the Chirstmas story.

1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be taxed.
² (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
³ And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.
⁴ And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:)
⁵ To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

I decided which blog site to use and Weekly Bible Verse

When multiply closed, I wanted to keep at least one blog site. I was torn between this one and http://reneewenzel663.wordpress.com/ and kept both open and used both until I could decide on which one to use. I decided to stick to this one so I will be doing future blogs here. In Loving Memory Of Ashes

This blog is about Ashes my brother's cat and a part of my family. He was a 12 year old sweetheart and minus a urinary tract disorder, he was healthy upto the last few days of his life when he was sick. I loved that cat, he was more than a pet to me, he was a child to me. And tonight at the emergency vets my brother made the decision to have him euthanized due to his leukemia. We will miss Ashes and I will never forget him.  He had a good life and was spoiled rotten. We are having him cremated and in 7-10 days I should have his ashes back and in a way he will be home again.

This was Ashes a year or two ago. He went from 17 lbs to 11 lbs and was in bad shape. We didn't feel it was right to treat him and put him through further testing when the chances of his survival was low.

I know I posted this before but I feel it needs to be brought up from time to time for those who are new.

Are you 100% sure that you are going to go to heaven when you die?

1.We All Have Sinned
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of god." Romans 3:23

We are all sinners by nature and by choice. God sees all actions, thoughts, motives and places we go. We all feel guilty and ashamed of things in our lives.

2. We Have A Pentalty For Our Sin"For the wages of sin is death." Romans 6:23a

Sin must be paid for. God says the payment is death. Jesus said there are 2 deaths:

(1) Physical DeathGod already knows the day we will die. We can't avoid it-only prepare for it.

(2) Spiritual DeathThat's when a soul dies unforgiven and pays for his own sins, and goes to Hell forever (by the way, Hell was not created for people but for the devil and demons). God doesn't want anyone to go to Hell.
"...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23b

God sent Jesus as His free gift to us so we could recieve Him and one day live in Heaven forever.

A gift can't be bought or earned. It can only be recived. Forgiveness does not come through baptism, church, or good deeds. It can only come through receiving Jesus once and for all as a GIFT into our hearts by faith.

Yes Jesus did die for everyone-but not every person is going to Heaven-only those who receive Him. We either receive or reject Jesus Christ. There is no in between. No one is born with Him in their lives. He is a gentleman and won't come in our heart unless invited.

3. We Can Have The Savior"But God commendeth His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us." Romans 5:8

God chose to let Jesus pay for our sin by taking our place at the cross. He was spit upon, whipped, beard plucked and crucified. He loves you. He died, was buried, and arose after 3 days and is in Heaven making room for you. If you were the only sinner in the world, Jesus would have died just for you. He loves you!

To be honest, most people have never had a definite time, place and day to accept Jesus once and for all into their hearts. If it's ever happened to you, you'd remember it! If you were to die unforgiven as you are, where does the Bible say you'd go? Is that what you want?

4. We Can Be Forgiven Now"For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

If Jesus was willing to take you just as you are, wouldn't you be willing to take Him, "just as He is"? Just ask Him now...

Let us help you word a prayer. (Remember it's not mere words that save, but your faith in Jesus Christ).

Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me for my sins. Jesus, come into my heart and save my soul from Hell. I'm trusting you, and you alone, to take me to Heaven when I die. Thank you for saving me, Jesus.

                        Amen

College Graduation

I did it! I have graduated from college for the 2nd and final time. It will take me a little while to adjust to not being a college student. Now I am a college graduate times 2.

And with that I am graduating tomorrow!

Well had my last final of being a college student. I will still be considering myself a college student till after the graduation ceremony that is going to take place this Saturday. But I am done with my classes. I had a blast and I know that I am going into my dream career. I can't imagine myself doing anything else and it made this last 7 years of college worth it. I got a diploma in Vet Assisting to back me up till my big career in the Animal Shelter works out. I already have a shelter that wants to hire me, they just need the funding so please pray that they get the funding to hire me. It may be easier for me to get a job outside of my city since there is only 2 shelters in my town, however most of my family is in town and since I am a family type person, I would rather stay in the area (although I will move if I have to). I will miss school a ton, however I am looking forward to what life and God brings to me next in my post college days.

So far in 2013 and RIP my first car

So far in 2013 its been a pretty good. Although one bad thing did happen to me. I am losing the car that I was supposed to get as my first car. My mom got me a used car so that while I got the hang of driving I would have a car to use. Well my mom had to take it out of storage due to her car being broken down, and then this one started to act up. Mom took it in thinking that it would be cheaper to fix this car other then hers. But it turned out the other way around. My car has a cracked head and it would be cheaper to replace than to fix. My mom's car had a dead battery.
I hope that everyone's 2013 is having a good start.
